Wednesday the 14th catch up time as both of us have been way indeed Greg is still away so lone working on a hot sunny morning whilst the others were busy digitising and uploading material onto the web site.

Taylor office needed a sweeping out as the seeds had accumulated from the nearby trees.

Then off refitting the float bowl to the scammel carburettor but although I got a couple of coughs it would not run as the battery was near dead as somebody had knocked the solar charger terminals off the battery so now recoupled and panel on the roof for maximum charge time.

on the way back the arched metal support frame was removed from the carriage corridor canvas as it needed straightening and de rusting.

some manipulation in the blacksmiths vice got it straight.

time to de rust and paint  so sort out power tools only to find we have no electricity so seek knowledgeable people about the location of the circuit breakers.

once located and access gained they were reset but to no avail the test function is inoperative so guessing no supply to them.

so time for the battery operated grinder with wire wheel to strip rust and paint it was then treated and primed.

The day was cut short because of the lack of electricity and all the dust and rust sticking to the sun cream on exposed parts of the body..
